We've learned not to predict as we head into the new year. This is how we live and "before" isn't coming back. Truth is, there's no beginning, no end. Or more clearly, it's all beginnings, all endings. We endure the grief and snatch as much joy as we can. We're better at it now that we've had this collective experience. So lots of you are tweaking your palettes to fit the new you better. Finding joy in color and camaraderie and classes. I'm still interested in how the art community and the marketplace are changing even though I'm quite content to sit on the sidelines. I think of my studio as a halfway house for polymer tools that I collect and redistribute. I concentrate on turning shitstorms into fertilizer. I'm still nosy but I don't take many things very seriously. Here's this week's look forward.

I love the idea of making a personal palette for the year. Not going to do it but it makes me happy that some artists do.
