I choked back tears as I thanked my doc for fixing eye one this week. I’m one of those Kleenex-carrying easy criers who well up and dab at the slightest provocation. I also felt grateful to all of you who said the experience would be marvelous. I’ve never had good vision and it’s a marvel. Turns out that tears are good for creativity. Research indicates that by embracing the bitter with the sweet, our relationships can be deeper, our creativity more accessible, our capacity for compassion stronger, and our lives richer. The link to a new book about this is below. I managed to get a video assembled and I snagged a few links from limited online time. Last week’s gathering was so rich that you can expect the goodies from my cell phone to keep delivering ideas and products for some time. Seems a huge amount of bright white has been added to everything I see. And the tears lubricate my eyes.
Movie time
One cane-building movie from Julie Eakes that's a fun romp. You won't believe how quickly and accurately she slams a signature cane together. Then there are two fun YouTubes (locked tight so I can't give you pictures and descriptions) from Ana Belchi and Debbie Crothers. I find it easier to turn off Ana's sound and just read the captions.
