As I sat down to write Mojo #590 I glossed over a cheery newsletter from Ingrid Fetell Lee. I wasn’t in the mood for cheery. “I’ve got to get this done,” I thought. But Ingrid recommends asking yourself, “How can I make this more fun?” It got me thinking. What would make Mojo more fun to write? To read? I love playing with photos, improving them…but that takes time so I don’t often let myself go there. Except for today. I needed to add fun to the process. It worked and made me a much happier camper. I’ve decided to stay on high alert for those dreaded “should” moments when I set fun aside. Bringing more fun into studio work and daily routines is a challenge that pays off.
