We Were Asked If AfricanAncestry.com Tests Can Be Used to Find Family, Real Living Relatives. The Answer is No. They Test YDNA or MtDNA which is about Less than 1 % of Your DNA. We Use Autosomal DNA which is a different part of your DNA.
Regarding our project, to participate in Finding Real African family , You MUST take an autosomal DNA test with Ancestry , 23andme, Myheritage, FTDNA or LivingDNA. They provide a DNA matching service. African Ancestry does not provide this. Maybe they will in the future.

Some Kits Are No Longer in Our Project
