Jerry Dean Ducati Estate Liquidation List ALL MOTORCYCLES AND PARTS ARE LOCATED IN CINCINNATI, OHIO About Jerry Dean: After 15 years of racing with the AMA, Jerry began to devote his time and talents to restoring, and preserving the Ducati beauties that so captivated him. As a gifted tool and die maker and mechanic, Jerry became a restoration specialist with impeccable attention to detail. Finding, buying, maintaining, and restoring RARE Italian motorcycles became his passion. Folks from all around the globe knew him to be among the very best, and appreciated his expertise. Found within this collection are factory racing machines that would be considered a pinnacle achievement for any serious collector or museum. Bikes like these are rarely for sale because they can not be found, or replaced. Finding vintage motorcycles in this pristine condition is just as unusual. Most have not contained gas or oil since completed by Jerry. Ride them, or pour a beverage and just sit back and enjoy the BEAUTIES! - up to you. More photos available on request. #13 Ducati NCR Hailwood Racer (IOM 1978 Replica)
Motor # 088241 Model Year 1978 Isle of Man NCR Hailwood Replica. Appears to be a chassis constructed from authentic parts, no chassis number as was usual for this series. Motor was purchased from Steve Wynn/Sports Motorcycles in unique trim associated with Mike Hailwood (widely considered one of the greatest racers of all time) and was possibly the spare engine from Hailwood's 1978 IOM "comeback" victory, one of only 5 motors of this type built. Of note - there is currently a limited edition of 12 "Hailwood IOM Replicas" known as the Checkered Flag bikes being constructed under license from the Hailwood family with a starting price of ($126,000 US). Those bikes and this bike are very similar with this bike being a much older creation and with the benefit of an authentic motor. Price: $125,000
