As today's quote insists, we need to finish projects and pieces. We persist to prove to ourselves that we are artists. We make rules, build habits, create rituals that keep us on task and in bounds. Brilliant, shiny, dreamy ideas are necessary. But what feels best (even if it flops) is bringing one to life.
