StudioMojo #514

My Friday afternoon procrastination has kicked in and I’m coming up empty-handed. There are plenty of clickable candies that the algorithms bestow upon us. The ones that are visually arresting and invite deeper discovery made the cut with the hope that this creative compost will fertilize new ideas to move you forward and expand your understanding. But no theme, no post-traumatic wisdom comes to my mind. Blair and I have watched from the porch spellbound as large dinosaur-looking equipment gnawed, bashed, and pulverized eight buildings across the street from our home. It would appear that we now live on the edge of a large park. We wait for a senior apartment complex to rise up. The result of this and other changes (mask/no mask) has me hop scotching from project to project. Things are changing fast at home and at my studio space just as I was rediscovering the art of slowing down. I’ll just enjoy the view and be content to ricochet between creative ideas while I wait for the dust to settle and that wisdom to kick in.

Cayenne encourages curiosity and fires up the imagination." You have to sign in but It's a fun read and you'll feel "in the know"
