15 Pop Punk Songs for the Melancholic Soul

• Stay Together For The Kids

  Blink-182 helped shape the pop punk world. They have bands named after their individual hits such as Man Overboard, and no one will ever forget the magic Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus created together.   Led by Brendan Lukens and Jake Ewald, Modern Baseball never holds back. Though they are currently on hiatus due to personal issues, Modern Baseball has dropped countless powerful jams for their fans. "I Think You Were In My Profile Picture Once" checks in at under two minutes long, but can still leave even the strongest in tears. "But I know for a fact that these are broken nights, Covered in bottles with the stench of a loss of life, And I know that it's quite heartbreaking we won't speak like this again."

• Pothole

  While Lukens sang the first entry on this list, it's Ewald crooning this emotional song. Singing in a soft voice with little background noise at all, Ewald sounds like he's in the scene he describes in the song.   A recent hit by Free Throw, Victory Road tells a story in the time of a single song. Victory Road displays the singer waiting to meet up with an old flame in their favorite bar. • A Bitter Divorce

  Now we get into the bands with only one entry. "A Bitter Divorce" by Captain, We're Sinking, goes straight for the heart.
